Onyx
Onyx is a rare natural stone applied to:
- manufacturing of cameo brooches and seals (in ancient times),
- decoration of interiors,
- creating exceptional washbasins and bathroom tops.
Onyx is a rarely occurring stratified rock, which can obtain white, black, brown, yellow or green colour. This stone was known and valued also in antiquity, when it was used for manufacturing cameo brooches and seals. Currently onyx is used mainly in decorative purposes, where its semi-transparency is utilized.
