Floors

As one of the most important elements of interior design, the floor strongly determines individual character of a room and facilitates activities that the room is purposed for. Choosing material for the floor, one should bear in mind the way that this particular room is used. The floor pattern divides space in a clear way, brings out aesthetic value of the interior and facilitates comfortable communication between all neighbouring functional zones. Appropriate and successful choice of material will enable the floor's reliability, durability and attractiveness.

Analysing a typical housing pattern, we can identify zones such as bathroom, kitchen or hall, which require flooring made of water-resistant, washable, easily-cleaned materials. The most efficient solution could be patterns of colourful stone panels characterised by outstanding elegance, high durability and resistance to abrasion.

At the stage of floor designing, it is advised to think about a possibility of radiant floor heating installation, which will greatly improve the comfort, especially in the bathroom and kitchen, or other rooms where we are planning to apply floor tiles (owing to sizing, the tiles are fixed without joint, which makes cleaning easier) or large, uniform stone panels. Heated floor spreads the warmth regularly all over the room, allows to control the temperature and to stop wasting room for radiators. If you decide to install radiant floor heating, you should not build the floor of materials that contain hardening resins, which when heated emit substances harmful to health. Owing to its warmth, durability and noble character of material, marble can be recommended for classic-style flooring.

Tiles (30x30x1) are available in a wide range of colours, can be matte or gloss and can have original texture. This material has very high durability and resistance to freeze and abrasion. Using polished stones enables us to visually enlarge the room, which can be successfully used in small spaces, halls, bathrooms or kitchens. Ideally smooth surface of the floor reflects all the other architectural elements and rays of light, which gives the interior luminous, light atmosphere. A different effect can be achieved thanks to rustic, matte marble tiles, imitating floor patterns from centuries ago. Such tiles look splendidly with stylised furniture and classic interior design.

Choosing the colour of floor always raises serious doubts.

Therefore, we do not leave you with this problem alone but we offer advice of interior designers and create visual projects and plans for our customers.
